MORE IMPORTANTLY, IT CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE FOR THE BETTER

Alcohol and Drug Safety Action Program (ADSAP)

Charleston Center works with the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles to provide an educational program for clients who have been convicted of Driving Under the Influence (DUI).  This program includes an assessment and some clients may be referred, if necessary, to a higher level of care in order to successfully complete the legal requirements for the reinstatement of a driver’s license.

Other Court Related Programs:

Probation Intervention Program (PIP)

This is an education program developed for first time offenders referred from the Probation, Parole and Pardon Services. This program provides educational information about alcohol and other drugs. Classes are held on site at the Leeds Avenue correctional facility or at the Charleston Center.

Alcohol and Drug Awareness Program (ADA)

This is a risk-reduction program for first-time offenders of alcohol and/or other drug related laws. The goal is to decrease the threat of future legal problems associated with alcohol and other drug use by identifying risk factors assisting with positive lifestyle changes.

Juvenile Drug Court and Adult Drug Court

Charleston Center’s adult and adolescent outpatient programs work with Juvenile and Adult Drug Courts to provide education, treatment and case management services.
