County Council Holds Public Meeting on Bees Ferry Landfill

             Meeting to be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, at Rutledge Memorial Church in West Ashley.


Charleston County Council will hold a public meeting in West Ashley on Tuesday, April 29, to share information about the Bees Ferry Landfill.

The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the gymnasium of Rutledge Memorial Church, located at 2014 Bees Ferry Road in West Ashley.

For anyone wishing to make comments during the meeting, a sign-up sheet will be available beginning at 6 p.m. at the meeting location.

Staff from Charleston County’s Solid Waste and Recycling Department will give a brief presentation about the Bees Ferry Landfill to include future use of the landfill and height restrictions.

Following the presentation, the public will have an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback to Charleston County Council and staff members.
