Green Initiative Night will include the following:

  • Charleston County Recycling will have a table set up inside the coliseum where staff will be available to talk about the County’s recycling programs

  • Reusable bags will be thrown to Stingrays fans at different times during the game

  • Charleston County Recycling will sponsor the in-game promotions

  • Fans will be chosen to play games that relate to recycling and litter control

The Green Initiative Night at the South Carolina Stingrays game will also feature a variety of other businesses and organizations that promote a more environmental and sustainable lifestyle.

“The Stingrays Green Initiative Night is going to be a great event for Charleston County Recycling to be a part of,” said Theresa Martin, Marketing Specialist for Charleston County Recycling. “We are excited to get our important message out to Stingrays fans and to encourage education on other environmental issues.”
