Convenience Centers and Landfill Hours Change During July 4 Holiday Weekend

Charleston County’s Environmental Management Department announces the following changes in its hours of operation for the upcoming holiday weekend:

Bees Ferry Landfill

• The Bees Ferry Landfill will be closed on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4, and is always closed on Sundays.

• Hours at the landfill normally are: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.; and Saturday, 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Convenience Centers

• Convenience centers will be open on Friday, July 3, as usual, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

• Convenience centers will be closed on Saturday, July 4.

• Hours at the convenience centers normally are:

Convenience Centers (staffed centers)
Hours: Open 7 a.m.-7 p.m., except Sun. and Wed., open 1 p.m.-7 p.m. 

Bees Ferry Road Convenience Center
Hours: Open Mon.-Sat. 7 a.m.-7 p.m., except Sun. and Wed., open 1 p.m.-7 p.m.
