The Fall 2008 Charleston County Citizens' Academy Graduates!

After 12 weeks of learning everything about their local government, the 11th class of the Charleston County Citizens' Academy officially "graduated." The group was recognized during the Charleston County Council meeting on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008. A total of 26 area participants, including seven county employees, met for three hours each week for an intensive 12-week course, learning directly from Charleston County staff and elected officials about the wide variety of county government services.
