On Tuesday, July 29, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) presented a $236,498 check to Charleston County at the 7 p.m. County Council meeting. The check was given for Charleston County's continuing participation in its Project Impact Partnership program aimed at reducing local air and water pollution.
