Lane Closure on N. Spartan Boulevard Extended to March 3

Charleston County RoadWise advises the public that the lane closure on North Spartan Boulevard in North Charleston, which was originally scheduled to occur Thursday, Feb. 12, - Thursday, Feb. 19, has been extended through Tuesday, March 3. The closure will occur between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

One lane of North Spartan Boulevard will be closed to place stormwater piping alongside and under the existing road.

At no point will the entire roadway be blocked to traffic. Traffic traveling in each direction on North Spartan Boulevard will be affected for approximately 2,200 feet.

The public is asked to be aware of the reduced speed limit of 25 mph and the flagman operations in this area.

Charleston County RoadWise is the name of Charleston County Government’s management program for the construction of roads, highways, resurfacing, paving and drainage projects that are funded by the Transportation Half-Cent Sales Tax.
