Voter Registration applications or change of address forms may be:

1)     Mailed (POB71419, North Charleston SC 29415)

2)     Faxed (843-974-6419)

3)     Emailed (must provide signature) to voterregistration@charlestoncounty.org

Voter Registration applications for new registrations must be received by the Board of Elections and Voter Registration Office or postmarked no later than 30 days prior to election.

17 year olds who will be 18 years of age as of the date of the next General Election may register to vote prior to 18^th birthday.

• May also participate in primary elections prior to 18^th birthday

You will receive a voter registration certificate confirming that your voter registration application has been approved and processed.  Click here  to verify your registration. Please contact the Board of Elections and Voter Registration Office by calling 843-744-8683 or by sending an email to voterregistration@charlestoncounty.org if you do not receive this certificate.
