Getting a Recycling Bin

Start recycling and get a recycling bin! Or, if you are already recycling and need more bins, don't waste any time!

  • Charleston County Residents are allowed to pick up recycling bins for free.
      
  • Elderly and Handicapped Residents (only) can receive wheels for their containers.
     
  • Event Planners should visit the event bin program page for information on special event recycling bins.

Where can I pick up a recycling bin?

Pick up one today for free at the Bees Ferry Convenience Center, Charleston County Recycling Center, James Island Public Service District, Lonnie Hamilton III Public Services Building, Mount Pleasant Public Services Department, or North Charleston Public Works.
