| Due to the recent upgrade of our online system, you will be prompted to download new ActiveX controls. If the download does not start automatically, please follow the steps below:
1) In Internet Explorer's Security Settings, please add imgweb.charlestoncounty.org as a trusted site.
2) Temporarily disable your Firewall, Virus Scan and any other popup blocker software you might have active on your machine.
3) Click here to read the instructions on configuring Microsoft Internet Explorer browser to work with ActiveX controls used by the upgraded Imaging system. Click here to see the instructions in the video.
4) Clean your current ActiveX controls using this utility or using these instructions.
After you complete the above steps, try to enter the online application again to see if the automatic download will start and complete properly.
Once the new ActiveX controls are downloaded, you will need to reboot your machine and then re-enable your Firewall, Virus Scan and other security software that was temporarily disabled.
Manual Installation Procedure:
Click Here to download the new ActiveX controls needed to access our online imaging systems.
Click Here to get the ActiveX controls through Email. Please ensure that you can receive Email attachments up to 13MB.
When prompted, click on Run. On some computers, there might be a second window that comes up asking again if you want to run the installation. If that is the case on your computer, please click on the Run button again.
Note: Downloads using a dial-up modem may take up to 30 minutes.
IMPORTANT: If during installation you see an error notice window, please follow the steps below:
1) You should see two options on the error window. Retry or Cancel. Click on Cancel to proceed.
2) The installation should resume. If you get another error notice, repeat step 1. If the installation continues properly, then proceed to step 3.
3) Reboot your computer to complete the installation.
