At the South Carolina Society of Fire Service Instructors annual Instructor Improvement conference, Chris Waters was presented with the Frank Ballentine Award for Excellence by Chief Karl Ristow, St Johns Fire Department. Arthur Sattler was elected to the position of President of the SC Society of Fire Service Instructors, Arthur currently holds the rank of Engineer/Firefighter with the Awendaw Fire Department.
