About Us

Resilience and Sustainability are housed under the Deputy County Administrator for General Services. These positions were created in 2020 and 2021 by County Council to identify strategies to make the County more resilient and sustainable while focusing on the prevention and mitigation of climate change which causes increased sea level rise, flooding, and extreme heat in Charleston County.
