Operation: Civic Duty

In 2024, BVRE launched an exciting partnership with Vet the Vote, a national initiative that recruits veterans to serve as poll workers during elections. "Operation: Civic Duty" seeks to provide local veterans with opportunities to serve their neighbors once again. We want these heroes to use their distinctive skills, their unwavering commitment to their country, and their leadership experience to help maintain the integrity of elections in Charleston County. Adopt a Polling Location

The Adopt a Polling Location program is a Charleston County Board of Voter Registration and Elections initiative where non-partisan organizations can partner with us to "adopt" a polling location by providing staff for one (or more) of our polling places. Rather than paying each staff member individually, we will write a single check to the organization. The funds can then be used to invest in efforts that improve our community.

Adopt a Polling Location Partners

We are thankful for the organizations in Charleston County that have partnered with us to serve our voters.
