Manufactured Housing Permit Fees

For setup on a new or existing site

Note: Fees for modular construction as defined by the South Carolina Modular Construction Act shall be based upon the fee schedule for permits based on construction valuations.

Inspection Fees

(1) Re-inspection	When a reinspection fee is required, an additional fee of $75.00 will be charged for each inspection.
(2) Minimum Permit or Inspection	Fee $50.00
(3) Floodplain Management Compliance Inspection	$100.00

Other Permit Fees

(1) Trade Permit Fee when the contractor is working as a subcontractor	$25.00
Notes: When trade permits are issued for work being done as the prime contractor, the fees shall be as above for the appropriate type of work being performed. Prime contractors permitted and performing sub-contractor work utilizing their full-time regular hourly employees will be issued trade permits with no fee.
(2) Hazardous Occupant Permits	$100.00
(3) Fireworks Stand Permits	$50.00
(4) Structural Moving Permit Fee	$100.00
(5) Demolition Permit Fee	$50.00

Note: Application fees for appeals successfully granted by the Construction Board of Adjustment & Appeals shall be reimbursed to the applicant.

(2) Construction in Flood Zones / Filing Fee	$20.00
Note: Flood zone filing fees are required to be charged per the following: When a Flood Zone Filing Fee is charged: Change in footprint Substantial Improvement Change in use Any new construction to build a building or structure in the Special Flood Hazard Areas Performing new work below the existing first floor level in a structure or building Modifying or improving a building or structure below the freeboard/base flood elevation requirement. Other construction activity such as: pump stations, service poles, HVAC change-outs requiring unit relocation, potential obstructions in "V" flood zones, breakaway walls (enclosures) in "V" flood zones. Typical examples of when a flood zone filing fee is not charged: Re-roofing Electrical safety, or upgrades Gas Safety Plumbing fixture change outs Mechanical change-outs where relocation of the unit is not a requirement Fences under 6 feet in height Window replacements Work on an existing structure that does not trigger substantial improvement determination A flood zone filing fee should not be charged for an additional structure on a parcel as long as the additional structure is part of a project and permitted along with another building or structure (only one flood zone filing fee should be charged) on the same parcel. Flood zone filing fee should not be charged for subsequent permits on a structure where there is an active permit. (3) Fees for replacement of placards shall be	$25.00
