Charleston County's 18th Annual Earth Day Festival will take place on Saturday, April 15 (11am - 4pm) at Riverfront Park in North Charleston on the former Charleston Naval Base. If you are interested in participating, you must complete and submit the Charleston County Earth Day Festival Exhibitor/ Vendor Application prior to the application due date, which is Friday, March 10th.
All exhibitors and vendors are required to re-apply each year. Past participation does not guarantee inclusion in the 2017 festival.
All applications will be reviewed and accepted applicants will be notified on or before Friday, March 17th.
All exhibitors and vendors will receive a comprehensive information packet two weeks prior to the festival.
All exhibitors and vendors must read and adhere to Charleston County's Annual Earth Day Festival Green Policy. For example, food vendors are required to provide compostable serveware, including but not limited to: plates, napkins, forks, knives, spoons, straws, and coffee stirrers. No Styrofoam products are allowed in event.
Exhibitors that have been approved to participate will be notified regarding placement of their booth.
Check-in will occur from 8:30am to 10am at the Exhibitor Check-in Tent, located at the corner of Everglade Ave. and Navy Way at the entrance to the park. Upon check-in, you will receive specific instructions and directions to your booth. Earth Day Volunteers will be on hand to assist you with moving your exhibit items from your vehicle to your booth. Since the pathway is restricted and one-way only, we ask that you move your vehicle as soon as possible after unloading to allow other exhibitors access to set up. Set-up must be completed by 10:30am. The event will kick off at 11am.
Please note vehicles are NOT permitted to park on the grassy areas at Riverfront Park. Please remain on the paved pathways at all times.
Please do not begin to break down your booth before. 4pm Vehicles will not be allowed in the park before 4:15pm; however, you may begin to break down your booth at 4pm All materials must be removed from Riverfront Park by 7pm. Exhibitors are responsible for leaving their booth area clean and free of trash and other materials. Please dispose of your waste accordingly using our Resource Recovery Stations.
Charleston County's Earth Day Festival is a waste-free event. All participants are asked to commit to reducing waste at the event. Resource Recovery Stations will be strategically located throughout the event to collect recyclable materials, organic waste and garbage generated by attendees and exhibitors. Please note the festival Green Policy.
A first aid/security tent will be on site. If you notice a festival attendee who needs to receive first aid, please direct them to the first aid tent and/or notify an Earth Day Volunteer immediately. In the event of a lost child, please notify Event Staff, Security, or an Earth Day Volunteer.
All food vendors MUST provide a Certificate of Liability (COL) insurance that includes Charleston County under your comprehensive general liability insurance. Submit your certificate of liability electronically to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
