This Request for Applications (RFA) is being solicited for programs and projects that meet the goals outlined in the County's PY2016-2020 Consolidated Plan. The proposal must identify the specific goal that the project will address and must include measurable outputs. Note: The application must clearly identify whether the proposal is being submitted to Charleston County, the City of North Charleston, OR both governmental bodies.

A COMPLETE application package includes two (2) parts:

Example, if you are applying for a CDBG emergency repair project, then download, fill out, and submit the forms and attachments listed under the “Community Development Block Grant (Emergency Housing Repair Projects)” checklist in Section 5 of the instructions. These documents must be submitted electronically - applications cannot be faxed or emailed. Documents submitted must be signed by a representative of the entity duly authorized to commit to the provisions of this RFA.

The Pre-Application Workshops are an opportunity for you to ask questions and learn more about the RFA. There will be 2 workshops this year. Although the workshops are not mandatory, they are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED.
